It's May 2007 when, in the heart of the Casoretto discrict of Milan, the Uruguayan Juan Lema, Head Chef, and the Milanese Cristina Borgherini, room manager, work and life partners, open Mirta Trattoria, which soon becomes a reference point in the Milanese restoration panorama.
Mirta's cooking is "earthly", seasonal, inspired by traditional regional Italian recipes.
Fresh and quality ingredients, coming from small and highly selected producers, in the Chef's hands, become the refined and sober dishes that develop and define the Menu of every day, with different plates, between lunch and dinner.
The warm welcome and food care are assured by the presence of a team of skilled and prepared collaborators, essential to sustain the daily "We are fully booked!".
Mirta Trattoria is a location to discover, a space to live, a place to come back to.
At Mirta, the menu consists of dishes that follows the seasonality of the products, personally selected by the Head Chef Juan Lema.
Bread, pasta and desserts are homemade.
The cellar is entrusted to the professionalism of Scarpitti Distribuzione for a wine list that offers labels of small and passionate producers, found in every part of the peninsula.
